I wrote a satire, in the Swiftian sense, about real estate, television and environmentalism, called “420 Cambridge”. It imagines a tv show taking place in a new townhomes development here, starring the ubiquitous James Franco.
My blog “Plastic Alto” is not very well traveled so only about 60 people have seen this article.
I posted on another site a comment that said that 2 townhomes on that site is green, while 4 is greed.
Here is the link.
I am curious what they will put in the commercial space, if not a pot dispensary.
I think three of the four units are sold, and the fourth one is listed at $1.4.
edit to add, almost a year later: news of James Franco actually producing some films here based on his “Palo Alto Stories” has me sending the link to his — originally written in 2011 — to people like the realtor selling the last unit and a small-time actress NAMED WEEDMAN — I imagine as a cameo.
you make a cameo in a satire I wrote called “420 Cambridge” as a stanford grad training for olympics in cycling while living in a garage of a pot dispensary below $1.4 million townhomes.
It came down to you and a Stanford professor named Kathy Stoner-Weiss (no relation)
